Why do you not accept e-mail from some online e-mail services?

This decision was not taken lightly but over the last year (2003-2004) - the amount of spam and utter rubbish I receive either directly from these services or purporting to come from them has increased to such an extent that I spend half the time I set aside to researching the content for the site just wading through rubbish e-mails.

If you genuinely use a web based e-mail account then I apologise but you can always contact me via the guestbook in the Debriefing Room. Currently these measures are working.

For information my e-mail server checks where the e-mail is from and if it is in the list I have banned it is deleted automatically at the server, I never get to see it. The web based e-mail services I currently have banned are:

Why doesn't your site have details of all the men who worked in SOE?

The site is titled "The Women of the Special Operations Executive" and is purely to tell the stories of the women who worked within the SOE organisation. The only men mentioned on the site are those that had a direct bearing on particular women or their role in the organisation or as part of a general background to SOE. As much as I would love to have the whole history of SOE on the one site the work involved would be prohibitive - this is done in my own/family time - and I don't think my maker will grant me the 100 plus years it would probaly take to achieve it anyway.

Can you help me researching medals?

Sorry but that is a major subject in its own right. Try the Medals section on my WWW Resources page. If that is not useful then I can only suggest using a search engine.

No. I do not give out any addresses (Read this page). If you want to contact any of the people who help me with the site then I may forward it to them for perusal and you may get a reply.
