War Women a new four-part documentary series presented by Kate Adie, which traces the history of women at war, following their progress from tribal warriors and nurses on the front line to agents and spies.

Channel 4 Television, here in the UK, produced a documentary - "Behind Enemy Lines – The Real Charlotte Grays" - to coincide with the release of the film.

Charlotte Gray premièred on 19 February 2002, here in London, and the film went on general release in the UK from 22 February.

The Warner Bros (USA) web site for the film is here. The site has a wealth of detail.

The Internet Movie Database (IMDB) now has full details of cast, crew and ancillary information and movie trivia. One interesting piece of trivia is that Cate Blanchett conceived during the making of the film.

Based on the best-selling novel by Sebastian Faulks, filming started in February (2001) and went on location to England, Scotland and France.

The production companies involved were Channel Four Films (UK), Ecosse Films (UK).
